After you have created a myitlab Study Plan, you can edit, preview, and perform other actions on the Pre-Test and Post-Tests used in the Study plan. The options available are defined by the type of Study Plan -- that is:
Pre-test > Training > Post-Test
Pretest > Training
Training > Post-Test
To edit the activities and selections for an existing myitlab Study Plan, complete the following steps:
Click the Course Content button on the toolbar.
In the Content Library or My Course window, click the option menu next to the appropriate study plan and then click Open Study Plan.
The Edit myitlab Study Plan window opens to the Build Study Plan tab. From here, you can edit the Instructions to a student, modify the training Material Settings, and change Pre-Test and Post-Test options.
When the Build Study Plan tab opens, the Instructions to students box appears at the top of the page.
Review the text in the Instructions to student box. Click the Edit link at the far right to edit the default instructions by clicking the Edit link. The Content Editor window opens.
Click the Save button to save the changes (or Cancel to cancel the changes).
When the Build Study Plan tab opens, a Pre-Test window, Pre-Test Training window, and/or Post-Test window will appear.
Click the option menu next to the corresponding Pre-Test, Pre-Test Training, or Post-Test and then click Preview.
A Preview window opens, displaying a text preview of the questions in the activity. To preview a single question, click the
button next to the corresponding question. To preview all of the question, click the
Launch All link on the right side of the toolbar. To print a list of all of the questions in the activity, click the
Print link on the right side of the toolbar. Click the Close button to return to the myitlab Study Plan window.
When the Build Study Plan tab opens, a Pre-Test window, Pre-Test Training window, and/or Post-Test window will appear.
Click the option menu next to the corresponding Pre-Test, Pre-Test Training, or Post-Test and then click Edit.
An Edit SIM Pre-Test, Edit SIM Post-Test, or Edit Training window will open, with the Activity details tab selected. Edit the activity as you would a standard activity of that type (see Skill-based or Document-based for more information).specific to the activity type). Click Save and Return to return to the myitlab Study Plan window.

to return to the myitlab Study Plan window.
When the Build Study Plan tab opens, a Pre-Test window, Pre-Test Training window, and/or Post-Test window will appear.
Click the option menu next to the corresponding Pre-Test, Pre-Test Training, or Post-Test and then click View Grades.
The Gradebook window opens directly to the folder where the study plan is scheduled. For more information on using the Gradebook, click here.
When the Build Study Plan tab opens, a Pre-Test window, Pre-Test Training window, and/or Post-Test window will appear.
Click the option menu next to the corresponding Pre-Test, Pre-Test Training, or Post-Test and then click View Submissions.
The View Activity Submission window displays, showing detailed student submissions for that activity.
Note: The View Grades option and the View Submissions option are only available in the My Course window, not the Content Library window.
When the Build Study Plan tab opens, the Training Material Settings are displayed. Depending on the type of myitlab Study Plan, different options will display here. In general:
Training Materials after taking a Pre-Test: Select the Show training only for questions incorrectly answered or skipped in Pre-Test option if you want to the Training Material to include training lessons only for the questions the student incorrectly answered or skipped in the pre-test. Select Show training for all questions in Pre-Test if you want to the Training Material to include training lessons for all questions in the pre-test.
Training Materials after taking a Post-Test: If you want to allow students to view Training Material after taking the post-test, click the Allow Student to access Training Material if they do not obtain passing score in Post-Test check box. Select the Show training only for questions incorrectly answered or skipped in Pre-Test option if you want to the Training Material to include training lessons only for the questions the student incorrectly answered or skipped in the pre-test. Select Show training for all questions in Pre-Test if you want to the Training Material to include training lessons for all questions in the pre-test.
After you have made all of the desired changes, click
to return to the Content Library or My Course window.
